Rodney G. Clark received his undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1987, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He attended law school at the University of Mississippi, graduating in 1989.

He began his legal career as a legal claim representative for Allstate Insurance Company in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He received training in insurance claim processing, handling personal injury issues, and property claims. Mr. Clark then transferred to Allstate’s In-House Counsel. While acting as an attorney for Allstate, he handled discovery, motions, arbitrations, and a variety of other legal procedures. When he left Allstate in July 1991, he was handling over 115 files and was averaging approximately five depositions a week.

In August 1991, Mr. Clark joined the law firm of Capps, Ancelet & Stoverink. In January 1994 he became a partner in the firm.

Since joining the practice in 1991, Mr. Clark has utilized the skills he developed as a claim adjuster as well as a defense attorney in handling personal injury cases on behalf of his clients.

He has enjoyed success in relation to his personal injury practice, and has presided over several settlements in excess of $100,000. His legal expertise extends to other types of cases such as criminal, divorce, real estate transactions, and probate matters.

Mr. Clark and his wife, Marla, reside in Carthage. He has three children. He enjoys playing racquetball and golf. He has served as the Carthage Chamber of Commerce President and Carthage Kiwanis President. Since 1994, he has been the Chairman of the Carthage Christmas Open House. He currently sits as a Board Member of the Carthage Library District.
