Title Insurance
The attorneys are members of Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund, which is a title company licensed to write title insurance in the State of Illinois.  Title insurance protects against loss if a covered defect is found in the title.  When someone buys a piece of real estate they are given title to the property, meaning they receive full legal ownership of the property.  However, there are sometimes hidden mistakes that give someone else legal claim against the property.  Title insurance can help protect against problems in the title.  Please call us about our rates and how we can help in completing your real estate transaction from the very beginning in the development of the contract to the very end when a Warranty Deed is exchanged for the purchase price.

Mediation Services
On January 1, 2007, Illinois became a mandatory mediation state with regard to custody and visitation issues involving children and their parents.  Rodney G. Clark and William A. Rasmussen are both certified mediators.  In order to become certified they were required to complete 40 hours of course work at an approved institution.  Rodney and William stand ready to help resolve custody and visitation disputes involving parents, and it is truly hoped that this will be in the best interests of the children.
